Ari joined Velocity in 2026 as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, bringing over 20 years of senior financial leadership experience in private equity. Most recently, he served as CFO of Franchise Equity Partners, where he led the firm’s finance organization. Prior to that, Ari was Controller at Casdin Capital, Vice President of Finance and Operations at Level Equity, and Controller / Vice President of Finance at Solera Capital. He began his career in public accounting, spending six years at PwC as an Audit Manager in the Alternative Investments practice. Ari holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a minor in Economics from Queens College. He is a licensed CPA and Notary Public in the State of New York.
Outside the office, Ari lives in Long Island, New York, with his wife (also named Ari) and four children. He is an avid athlete who enjoys playing and watching sports and regularly runs marathons and triathlons.
Fun Fact: Ari is a Class-A, interior firefighter and a proud member of Hose 2 Company.
