Kristin Howell

Kristin presides over Velocity’s finance functions and daily firm operations. Prior to joining Velocity, she was a Controller at a Family Office where she led the accounting system reimplementation for multiple entities. Prior to her role at the Family Office, she was the Controller and Acting CFO at Apple Tree Partners, where she was responsible for the finances of a $2.5 billion life sciences venture capital fund. Kristin’s previous experience also includes being an Equity Derivatives Product Controller and Financial Accounting and Reporting Manager.

Kristin graduated with a dual B.S. degree in Accounting and Finance from Virginia Tech and is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.

Kristin was born and raised in Cazenovia, New York and currently resides in New York City. Kristin has lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Illinois and New York City (2x).
