Michael is responsible for a variety of capital formation and investor relations initiatives for Velocity. Prior to Velocity, he was a senior member of the team that established HighPost Capital, a middle-market Private Equity firm co-founded by Mark Bezos with approximately $550 million of AUM. Michael was responsible for capital raising and establishing the required infrastructure to launch the firm. Michael brings 30 years of institutional capital raising, and sales trading experience in a variety of roles at Furman Selz, ING Barings, CIBC World Markets and Ladenburg Thalman. He graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a B.A. degree in economics.
